A Christmas message from the District Grand Prefect
Brethren December 2025
As Christmas brings family and friends together, may the true meaning of Christmas fill your hearts. During this time of celebration, may the peace and blessings of Christmas be with you and your families.

As we approach this festive season we naturally look back over the past year, when for all of us, no doubt, there have been highs and lows. Some of us have lost family members, loved ones or good friends. Happily many have received more joyful news, to them I send my best wishes for the future.
This year has been a positive one for Allied Masonry in East Lancashire with a number of new members joining and Councils performing ceremonies with enthusiasm.
I look forward to meeting as many Brethren as possible on visits to our Councils, whether for the Installation meeting, Team Visits or more informally at a normal Council meeting.
I have been fortunate to attend many enjoyable visits to other District Council Meetings, accompanied by many you. For that loyalty I send my grateful thanks. May I thank all the Brethren of the District as well as the District Executive Committee for the tremendous support throughout the year.
Please continue to keep in touch with each other, if not in person then via the new District WhatsApp group, particularly with those who may be alone at Christmas.
Now, Diane and I send to each and every one of you, our very warmest best wishes for a Happy and Enjoyable Christmas and a Prosperous, and, above all, a Peaceful New Year, and I trust that all our members in the District continue to enjoy their Allied masonry to the full.
Graham
