The District Grand Council Meeting for West Lancashire took place in the stunning sunshine and the beautiful surroundings of Westhoughton Masonic Hall in Bolton.
It was well supported by their closest neighbours East Lancashire who sent an incursion of 15 Allied Masons including the District and Deputy Grand District Prefects Graham Newton and Trevor Parvin.

For those who haven’t visited Westhoughton Hall before it was a very pleasant afternoon. They have a well cropped garden about the building and the interior décor and facilities are second to none. Very well worth paying a visit.
The meeting was very well attended with great support from District Prefects from throughout the local districts and from far afield. Its quite surprising how far some of the brethren travel in support of the Allied Mason Degrees.

There was an excellent three course lunch served after the meeting accompanied by wine and the usual camaraderie amongst masons. The meal was well served which is really appreciated by brethren and the toast list after lunch was efficiently concluded.
West Lancashire have really got their District Meeting sewn up. The DCs Team did a splendid job on the floor, the food was good and the location really does stand out as the ideal venue. You would be foolish to miss the next one.
