James Edward Glover Council No. 137, held a wonderfully busy and productive meeting at Audenshaw Masonic Hall (Stanley House) on Monday, 1st June 2026.
The Worshipful Master, WBro Barry Heal, opened the Lodge and efficiently commenced with the 16 items of business on the summons, which included the reading of the dispensation by the Secretary.

The Masonic Hall in Accrington on Adelaide Street is the home of many lodges and chapters, plus the ever popular Allied Masonic Degree Lodge of Constitution Council No 183.
The hall is well maintained with excellent catering and masonic facilities and on Tuesday 19th May at 7:00 pm it was occupied by the Allied brethren conducting their Installation meeting and installing a new Worshipful Master for the coming year ahead. The Senior Warden Stephen Gregory PGJD was willing and able to take the post.

Please find the summons for our next meeting on Thursday 11th June 2026, I do hope you will be able to support this installation meeting. Will you be kind enough to let me know at your earliest convenience whether you intend to attend and dine along with the names of your guests.
We are required to inform Rochdale Masonic Hall of dining numbers no later than Wednesday 3rd June.

If you are available, Perseverance Council are bringing in two new candidates, two joining members and installing a new Master. This should be a fine morning of Allied masonry. They will meet at Padiham Masonic Hall on Wednesday 13th May. Starting at 12 Noon followed by lunch. The summons will be out soon.
