At the summer meeting of Constitution Council No.183 we were treated to an excellent working of the Knights of Constantinople degree at Accrington Masonic Hall on Tuesday 27th August 2024.
It was a most enjoyable and memorable evening, enhanced by the attendance of our Right Worshipful District Grand Prefect Graham Newton (who is a member of the Council).
Following the opening of the Council, VWBro Adrian Hunter PGReg, offered the gavel to RWBro Newton, who graciously accepted it, but immediately returned it with thanks.
VWBro Hunter (acting WM) then proceeded with the ceremony.
Bro. David Sharpe was the Conductor ably assisted by other members of the Council.
The Brethren taking the Degree were:
Bro’s John Ling, Stephen Holcroft, David Greenhalgh and Gary Williams. All of whom conducted themselves in a very creditable manner.
There were a total of 16 Allied Masons present all of whom, following the meeting, enjoyed a first class Social Board of Chicken Salad followed by Raspberry Cheesecake and Cream.
