Goulburn Council had their Installation meeting planned and were more than ready to reappoint the WM Ian McNeill. But events seemed to conspire against them on the day. A combination of Holidays, illness, other Masonic Duties and several other reasons really did hinder their efforts, with many members sending in their apologies.
However, circumstances didn’t take into account the brethren of Goulburn Councils determination to proclaim Ian McNeill back into the chair or the fact that W.Bro Shaun Higson was the DC. The two visitors were press ganged into office and those in attendance filled all the gaps. Circumstance really didn’t stand a chance. The WM was proclaimed, all officers were appointed and the Lodge closed efficiently.
It really was quite impressive to see.
