The Herbert Barrington Slater Council of Allied Masonic Degrees in East Lancashire met on 11th July, and it wasn’t just the ritual that was impressive—the weather certainly made its presence felt! On Friday, 29th May, the members of Michael Edward Herbert Council, the Grand Officers’ Council, met at Middleton Masonic Hall.
Following the normal business, a Council of the Red Cross of Babylon was opened, during which we had the pleasure of admitting eleven candidates.

The Red Cross of Babylon Degree in East Lancashire District is usually delivered once a year and normally only then by the Grand Officers Council; Michael Edward Herbert No 160. The date this year is Friday 29th May at 6:30 pm at Middleton Masonic Hall. Manchester Old Road M4 4DY. Any brethren requiring this degree to complete their five orders is earnestly recommended to contact the Secretary Trevor Parvin to book attendance and dining. You may not see this order again until May 2027.
